Too many children aged under 13 will lose their Mum in Australia this year. It is hard to imagine what they must go through. The pain. The feeling of loss - of themselves, of love of a lifetime of firsts.

Now add to that a year like no other experienced in our life time - the Covid 19 global pandemic. It has changed the way we have to engage with each other. There has been no hugging. No touching. No visiting people outside of your immediate family. In some instances no funerals. 

Now imagine being a child and having to try and process not only the loss of your Mum, but, also doing this without the extended support that generally comes when a loved one passes away.

We need your support today to help these children.

Our 'Memories of Mum' journals and more important now, than ever before. As everyone is feeling increasingly isolated. 

Memories of Mum is a journal targeted at children (boys and girls) aged 4 to 13 old. It has a number of writing prompts, mindfulness colouring in and free drawing/writing space. The purpose of the journal is to help little people process their grief and loss in a creative and expressive way - to create a memoir of their mum in a way that they see fit.

Memories of Mum provides a safe space for care givers - be it Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents or other significant indivuidals - to have meaningful conversations with the little one in a way that is comfortable for them. These conversations will be the important memories these children will take into adulthood.  It also helps to create dialogue and conversation between the main care giver - dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents - and the child.

Each journal costs only $25 to produce and mail. Please will you help a child remember their Mum.
